    Go To Device manager, right click the webcam and uninstall the drivers for it. Make sure you select delete the drivers.

    restart your computer.

    Then go on windows update and check updates for the latest drivers.

    or go to device manager, and click scan for changes

    Go to Microsoft Store (open Store app)-> "Download and updates" to see if any update Camera app.

    Did u made sure the camera is enabled on windows privacy settings download and install acer crystal eye software (used for old win7 laptops) and check if your webcam is working properly

    Tried ? is the webcam enabled on privacy or not if its enabled for all aps and you dont have any image might be a faulty webcam if so i suggest sending it for replace/repair

    Yeah usually these steps would resolve the problem. But for @Vinayak096 he is getting error code.

    @Vinayak096 Have you tried performing system restore. If not give that a try
