I upgraded my "bios" EFI and the bios update went to 100% and the "EC update" started and the screen went black it should and i went away to get something to eat and when i came back the laptop was turned off.
When i tried to start my laptop i only got the black screen indicating a failed bios update.
So i know needed to recover the bios.
I extracted the isflash.bin from the DH5JV111.exe by running it and navigating to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp and copying 7z*.tmp folder that includes the isflash.bin.
I opened isflash.bin with UEFITool then "Action>search" or ctrl+f and then choose the text tab and typed .fd to search for .fd "Search scope, header and body" "Text search options, Unicode" double-clicked the result in the lowest field and then right-clicked the marked up name in the main field and choose "Hex view...".
I then looked for the .fd filename.
I now know that the fd-filename is DH5JVx64.fd
The instructions for recovering insyde bios that i found for Acer is removing the battery and disconnect the AC adapter, plug in the usb-stick press and hold Fn+esc then plug in the ac adapter and the recovery should start.
Acer Aspire A315-41 battery is built in so it can't easily be disconnected, i need to take the bottom apart.
I tried without unplugging the battery and the fans spins up to max but looking at the led on my usb it only blinks once for power and it isn't indicating that it reads anything from the usb-stick.
I hope that someone with access to an service manual would be able to check if the battery needs to be disconnected and whats the right procedure to recover the bios on this laptop.
I also wonder what content that should be on the Fat32 formatted USB-stick since my research has shown different results some info says only the isflash.bin renamed to DH5JVx64.fd while other sources says everything from the unpacked DH5JV111.exe?
What should a proper recovery usb look like and should the partition or label be empty or named to anything specific?
Procedure of opening laptop.

I also wonder if opening the laptop and disconnecting the battery if needed to restore the bios would void warranty?
There are no warranty void stickers and one should be able to replace the battery if needed without voiding warranty but i have no idea whats Acers policy.
This laptop also has an built in M.2 so it needs to be opened to change the drive.
This is my second attempt to post this since in the first post i had a lot of whitespaces and when i edited the post it was placed in a queue for approval and i have waited many hours for it to appear.
