Battery discharging even plugged in while gaming

SamarajyaSamarajya Posts: 1Member New User
While playing RPG games like assassin's creed odyssey, i found some fps drop, and when i noticed, actually it was the battery that was discharging. Any solution?

    Good night Samarajya  !

    Good night !

First, what EXACT model of your notebook?
Is your device set to "High Performance"?
    Just play plugged in?
If so, know that it is normal for the battery to dim the charge when there are high energy requirements, such as games, graphic editors, etc.
Some cases the battery may drop a certain percentage depending on the game.
This is because the system uses some of the stored energy to calibrate the cells as it charges and supplies the energy.

@Samarajya it's completely normal that the battery will discharge to aid the adapter on high demanding tasks/games the is the only purpose of the battery alwasy play on AC and with battery full the battery was not made to play on battery as i said it's main purpose it's to aid the adapter when this one cannot provide enough power and usually it will start to recharge again when it reaches about 40% at that time you will loose all performance as the adapter will be trying to provide power to charge the battery and the demanding task you are doing at the time and it cannot do both at the same time when it reaches this condition my advice its stop what you are doing and let it recharge the battery to 100% again hope this helps to explain the issue and if you had searched the forum thie was already been explained 100's of times i really don't see the need to open another thread about the same.

Also you need to optimize windows/undervolt it will help to reduce a lot of power consumption keeping the same performance follow the links in my signature to learn more
