Hello guys. My predator helios has Intel i5 7th gen processor, 1050ti 4GB graphics, 8GB RAM. Since the hype of Apex is so high, i tried to play this game but i an not able to play it smoothly even at lowest video settings possible. It looks so trash at each and every low setting possible and the movements is not smooth too, too much stuttery. An one else with the same specs facing this problem? Please do let me know. Also fyi i do play PUBG at very low settings an i get aroung 20-60fps in game but it feels good to play and is not as stuttery as apex. Do comment what you guys think.

With the game running, what is your used system memory amount? This should be viewable in Task Manager. I think 8GB system memory is not enough to easily game with Windows 10. You are likely using some of your page file which is not ideal for gaming performance.

Aside from that; I have a similar spec Nitro 5 model (see signature) that plays Apex Legends on Med to High settings 60-75FPs without issue. The difference being 16GB of system memory in the Nitro 5.

I agree with @tobimaru 8gb RAM seems a bit low and also lacks dual channel functionality for such a heavy game.

@Saad98 you need more ram as it was already said above minimum 16gb because any laptop with only 8gb its pretty much useless and it runs great on mine all on max no issues here and same specs as yours and always play on AC with battey full and disable vsync ingame if u need more fps

Is that the only reason my system is not performing well? I saw your laptop's bechmark and it seems more than me! how is this  possible?
I did the same bechmark and please check and let me know if you can help me more. Currently i am not a situation to buy a new RAM.

Stop any other programs that may be running when the benchmark runs, like games in background and such; your background disturbance is very high - get this under 5%, max 10%.
Up the RAM to 16 by adding another 8 GB. Windows 10 is a memory hog taking up about4 GB for itself.

Two laptops might be similar in terms of hardware, but not software. His system might be super optimized while yours might be stock. You'll need to optimize windows to a degree that CPU utilization is near 0 when system is left idle.

OK. But what about the graphics card score. TBH I am not good with computers and if you compare my and @xapim score, his GPU's score is higher than me. Is possible that there might be any issues with my hardware? Also, is it okay to customize my power settings that you have set using some Parking software? Or else can you control my laptop remotely and do all the tweaks, id possible?

Foremost... do not compare your results with mine. Mine too is a G3-572, but... with i7-7700, 1060 6GB and 16 GB RAM.
The below details could help optimize your system to perform better.

The minimal I would recommend you in terms of hardware is to up your RAM to 16 GB.

Did you see my graphics card score -- user benchmark link in my signature.
The reason for this high score is because I optimized my GPU too, not just CPU. My GPU is under-volted with a custom voltage/frequency curve. This helps run it cooler and in turn leads to better performance.

Regarding Park Control, that is NOT my software. It is available online. Also, you install it, enable additional power settings, and then close the program. There is no need to run the program after this enabling. You may even uninstall the program, if you wish to.
The power plan I shared has optimized these newly available options too so your CPU runs much cooler by ramping up slowly while ramping down quickly (this might come across as performance hit, but no, you wouldn't be able to notice that.

Install Park Control, enable options like in the screenshot in this post, and then close the program. Program need not auto start with windows.

After this is done, import the power plan attached to this post, and select this power plan. Unless you know what you are doing, do NOT alter any options in the plan, especially the ones under "Processor Power Management".

After these are all done, and still you aren't satisfied, you'd need to further optimize your windows.

Ive seen this issue for many people who try out Apex Legends... It happened to me too, no matter what settings i tried to change in game, I was getting really low FPS... I then checked the Nvidia control panel and found that by default Apex Legends was set to run using the Intel HD Graphics which, as everyone knows, is pretty trash... I just changed the preferred GPU to the High performance Nvidia GPU and the game runs perfectly fine...

That should be the first thing to check after installing a game doesnt matter if you already have nvcp set to run on the high performance gpu because some games might default to the integrated always manually set it per app/game also just in case to force it to run on the gpu you want it to
