Problems with BIOS 1.22?

Hi everyone. I''ve got a laptop Nitro 5 (Core i5-8300H, GTX 1050 4gb, 8GB DDR4, 1TB HDD). Every time a new version of BIOS came out, I upgraded it. And now after BIOS upgrading to 1.22 CPU began to overheat. Usual game temperatures went from 70 degrees to 90 (no settings changes, no CPU overclocking etc). The only thing I've changed recently is BIOS upgrade. Can it be the reason of my problem? Should I downgrade BIOS? Thanks for the answers in advance.

Thanks for the answer. I reinstalled OS about a week ago and changed thermal grease. It didn't help
