    Good afternoon ourlaw !

    From what I understand, your equipment connects, but does not present video, is that right?
    If so, have you tried connecting it to an external monitor for testing?
    Is the Bios screen not accessed with F2?

    Hi @MaClane
    Maybe my explanation was not enough.
    There is no equipment!
    I have acer swift 5. I want to shutdown my laptop. So in win10, I press shutdown button from start menu. It shows '''shutring down' . Then the screen will turn off. Internal fan also will turn off.
    But after 1 second, the internal fan starts working but consider that the laptop is totally off.
    I tried it with Ubuntu and same result!
    As I know, when CPU is overheated, fan will work for a while and when the temp goes normal, it will stop working.
    Also when laptop is off, the power for different parts like screen, keyboard, fan and other parts will cut off! So fan should stop working.

    With the complementary information now yes I understood your problem.
    When the fan is activated after the shutdown, it remains for some time?
    Is it only on the battery or connected to the power socket too?

    @MaClane
    It never turns off and there is no difference between connected to power socket or on battery (always fan is on).
    I should mention that my BIOS version is v1.11 (the latest one)

    There is a possibility that static charge on the battery or lack of calibration in the cells is causing this error.

    Please perform the following procedures:

    CALIBRATION AND BATTERY RESET

    First, disable Quick Start in the power options and disconnect the notebook from the power outlet.

    httpswwwhowtogeekcomwp-contentuploads201602fast-startup-650x313pngpagespeedcekM3Qa70mcUpng

    BATTERY CONTROLLER RESET
    Access the device manager and look for the "acpi-compatible control method battery driver" and give it up.
    Then restart the notebook for Windows to reinstall and remove any errors.

    Process to reset the battery

        Disconnect the power adapter.
        Locate the hole to reset the battery in the bottom of the computer.
        He inserted a small clip into the hole. Hold the reset button for 05 seconds.
        Let the computer rest for 5 minutes without power.
        Plug in the power adapter and turn on the system.

    External Battery Pack

    If your notebook has an external battery, proceed as follows:
    1- Unplug the appliance from the mains and then disconnect the battery.
    2- Press the power button for thirty seconds, so that the static power is dissipated.
    3 - Replace the battery and turn the unit on.

    Process for calibrating the battery

    For this, you must turn off the device and give a 100% charge.
    Then unplug and use the battery until the battery runs out.
    Reload it as before.
    Repeat the process 3 times so that all cells are fully calibrated.

    @MaClane
    Thank you for your quick reply. But before doing anything, I want to ask whether doing this process will void the warranty or not?
    Because it is still under warranty till 2020.

    The process will not void the warranty.
    It is a procedure recommenced by the company itself to reset the battery.

    @MaClane
    I followed the instruction. The while that I pressed the reset button, fan stopped but after releasing the button, it starts again.

    And in the case, does the fan go on indefinitely until the power runs out or after a few minutes?

    Try to upgrade the Intel Management Engine.
    Also check out Bios if you have any options related to the fans.
    If not, try resetting Bios to factory defaults and see if it resolves.
