Hello All,

This is my first post, hope this is the correct section and right way to ask for forumers help.

I own this laptop Acer Aspire E 15 (E5-571G-53WP), need some techies/ experts suggestion/ assistance to sort my problems/ issues.

Is it possible for me to upgrade/ replace my current GPU(NVIDIA GeForce 820M 2GB Dedicated VRAM) ?
Is it possible for me to replace/ remove my current HDD 500GB with M2 SSD ?

As I like my laptop and don't wish to sell it out yet.

Thanks in advance.

You cannot replace the GPU as it is soldered to the motherboard.

You cannot install M.2 SSD, because the port that the HDD is connected to is different. It is a regular SATA and the SSD that will fit is something like this:

Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

No, there is almost no laptop on which the CPU and GPU can be upgraded. On almost every laptop the RAM and storage can be upgraded.
