Computer will not start(aspire E5-575)

hi. I have a aspire E5-575-33BM and it's about 1.5 years old.It will not start at all and it's like a brick with a battery light.
I have no real idea what it do. Please help! Here's the problem. 
- Two days ago when booting it up it went to the acer logo screen and then crashed without booting up. Did this three times
- blue light is on showing the battery is charging. Battery cannot be removed as its internal.
- Today I looked up troubleshooting and 
  did the battery reset as directed by acer and by bloggers I found. 
 literally no sound is coming from the laptop but the battery charging light is on if the com[uter is plugged in. If it is not plugged in then      the battery light is off. (Usually it would blink hello if it was unplugged but still had a charge)
Tried the reset several times, no dice.

I am out of ideas. 

1. Do you have any ideas?
2. If I cannot fix this is the computer worth spending money on to fix? How much does it cost to have a laptop looked at at a shop?

Forgot to add that there is no sound AND the screen is completely black. No more logo is appearing, nothing on the screen at all.
