When I try to make my laptop sleep without closing the id, it sleeps for just 1 sec and then wakes up automatically.
I used the lastwake cmd line, and found this:

Wake History Count - 1

Wake History [0]

  Wake Source Count - 1

  Wake Source [0]

    Type: Device

    Instance Path: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A36D&SUBSYS_12621025&REV_10\3&11583659&0&A0

Friendly Name: Intel(R) USB 3.1 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.10 (Microsoft)

Description: USB xHCI Compliant Host Controller

Manufacturer: Generic USB xHCI Host Controller

How do I solve this? I have an Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-51, running Windows 10 Home x64.

Thanks for help :)

  • Is there any device connected to this usb port? Have you tried upgrading the notebook drivers on these sites?

This is a wrong message shown, and the root cause is a windows 10 update (the updates get more n more stupid with each passing day).
If you recently installed any updates, roll back!

Also change the windows update settings to NOT update drivers!

Update: The problem is solved, and it was right in front me. My external keyboard somehow kept waking up my laptop. But its connected to the USB 2.0 port, thats why I didn't try with the keyboard. Disabling its property to wake the lap solved the issue.
    Anyway, thanks for the help.
    :)
