@revrock the max temp that PS shows its not real its the max spikes you had in game it can spike for a few seconds as PS records that so again it's not the real temp just use riva osd to show you real temps in game
I'm using Msi afterbruner  them temp goes while playing GTA 5 are 87-90 buy mostly it's 85 is that gud or should go through hotel hero YouTube videos
Go through his videos and optimize/undervolt as best as you can those are a bit high temps to me (not high high) if after that you are still having the same results consider a repaste

Predator and Nitro products are engineered to withstand higher operating temperatures than traditional notebooks. These systems include features that help with cooling and heat dispersion. The CPU and GPU are designed to handle temperature spikes in excess of 98 degrees Celsius without causing damage to the components. It is common for PC temperatures to spike temporarily during heavy gaming or graphic usage. If the system encounters excessive temperatures that could damage the hardware, it will automatically shut down to protect the components from becoming damaged.

Have u had your windows optimized and have u considered undervolting if none of those would improve you temps i would suggest a repaste

As I told they repasted the thermal paste  but it is still not working and I also done the undervolting and temp is going 89 to 92 after undervolting

Use coretemp (cpu) and msi afterburner (gpu) to check your temps or hwmonitor

Try following the links in my signature and see if that helps. Below is the screenshot of my CPU and GPU temps under low usage (like browsing and replying on this forum now). Also, leave the system idle for 15 minutes with the parameters I showed in the below screenshot + CPU usage too and post it please.

so idk if you have it fixed or not but whenever i got mine in it would power limit throttle because they sent me a super overclocked one and it would use to much power im assuming and it would get really hot but i solved the problem by using throttle stop. u have to intall fivr to throttle stop and go to the cores and then you have to turn all them down at least like 4 numbers i put mine all at 35 and my cpu is now clocked at 3.2 ghz and doesnt go passed that and the temps are a lot cooler. Idk what model you have it could be different for your cpu but you should definitely try it.

@Aeislin you don't got anything over clocked what you got was everything stock which it thermal throttles if not optimized properly /undervolted and in some extreme cases would also need repasting with kryonaut or similar in order to lower the temps to avoid throttling in some rare cases might also power throttle depending on the silicone lottery 😊
