Is it usual for the acer laptop to keep freezing?

Since I have got this machine, I can't even watch youtube videos. If the video is longer than 20 minutes or if I skip ahead the video anything more than 30 seconds, or even try to skip more than once in 5 minutes, it freezes. I only kept this computer to write notes on for class, but even then, I am a fairly fast typer, and this causes the laptop to freeze. I am unable to run the most basic of tasks without being impeded by the freezing (and sometimes even crashing) of the laptop. If there is any way to possibly fix this (although I don't think is possible), please help me out :) Thanks

Hi, thanks for this information, but when I followed the steps, and tried to play a video, I have received the same issues.
