    Hi TeacherDeb,

I am very sorry to hear this.

Do you have pictures of the issue found in the Motherboard?
Do you have the service order paperwork?

Can you please PM me that information with the serial number of your unit?

    Thanks in advance,
    Acer-Manny

Really disappointing seeing this thread as I am out of warranty by a few months but think it's burned out from normal use.  Why can such an expensive item have a common issue like this and not be covered after 1 year.  That's absurd and probably not different anywhere else but I won't be buying Acer again if I can ever even afford a new gaming laptop.

Bzy this is the main reason i paid for extended warranty because its such a huge investment i would want it any other way i extended my warranty for 3 years minus the 1 year ITW i already had so technically i extended for 2 years and dont regret even one minute never had any issue and dont expect to have but better safe that sorry i recommend everyone who bought (and still on warranty) or is buying a gaming laptop to buy extended warranty thats why this option exists

My motherboard is replaced too by Acer Service Center due to the gpu failure even my warranty expires on oct 10 2019 here in Philippines with no problem at all. I bought mine last oct 10 2017. And my unit already been repaired 4 times by the acer service center.

    Hi all,

We are closing this thread, please keep in mind that the Acer Community is not a direct portal to Customer service, the Acer Forum Discussions were designed as a peer to peer support community where Acer users help other Acer users. Many Acer employees (Moderators), read the various topics posted here and you will notice that some Acer employees interact with members when appropriate, primarily we want the community to be a place where members can exchange their own advice and ideas.

I recommend you to contact your local support channels
and ask for assistance with escalating the case.

Note: If you have support documentation of your case, you can send me a private message with the serial number of your unit, your contact info, and the documentation to have it escalated to your local support, please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee that anything will be done or change, we do not have access to any case documentation or make any decisions.

    Thanks,
    Acer-Manny
