As you can see in the pictures below, there does not seem to be place for a secondary internal SSD, as the first/stock Intel SSD is in that spot. Can someone help me? Thanks in advance. And if there is place for a second SSD, which type of SSD should I buy thats compatible?

Hi, For your information your laptop Aspire A715-71G-70GD includes a storage bay that allows for installation of a secondary 2.5" hard drive or solid state drive. Moreover, the unit Supports 7mm and 9.5mm co-lay. Also unit supports M.2 2280 for SSD (PCIe/SATA Co-lay). The HDD up to 2TB & SSD up to 512GB.

@Jack22 thanks for your answer. Where is that storage bay? Under that metal plate on the left bottom? Or?

@Jack22 thanks for your help. The thing is, as you can see in the picture, mine (storage bay) does not look anything like the one in the link you provided.

@Jack22 I understand that, but you can see there is no connector cable (SATA) and no HDD bracket. Its missing.

I have the same laptop, and the same issue. I would like to install a secondary ssd in the slot, but there is no connector cable or opening for data in the motherboard it seems. @Fasinhno: have you found a solution for this problem?
