Are there any storage capacity limits? Because I was considering an upgrade (or as an addition to my current one LITEON CV1-8B128  m.2)  to Samsung SSD 970 PRO 1 TB, M.2, PCIe NVMe drive, but I've read on some posts that 512gb is a recommended capacity.

Correct as @Jack22 stated those are the recommended limits but it will support more those limits are only the ones that were tested by acer themselves doesn't mean it will not support more because it does i have 2tb m.2 on mine hope this clarifies it :)
