I recently changed out the cpu fan in my laptop and when I put it back together the touchpad got so hot it created a bubble. I ended up taking the P.C. back apart and disconnecting the ribbon to the touchpad to prevent any damage. Can I simply replace the ribbon or do I need to replace the  touch pad to fix this issue? (Also, where do I find parts?? There’s nothing listed on eBay or google for my laptop)

    Hi Blackseries,
I will recommend you to change the touchpad too.
However this may void the warranty on the computer. So contact acer at http://www.acer.com/worldwide/support/
if computer is in warranty for support
