Hi
I just installed an 8g ram  stick in my E5-576G-5762 and the screen went crazy, then shut down. Removed the stick, no problem. The ram is Crucial  DDR3L-1600. Advice?

    Try with theses and check
    Up to 16 GB of DDR4 2133MHz, 2400 MHz system memory

    System Memory
    Two DIMM slots supporting:
Up to 16 GB of DDR3L 1600 MHz system memory
    Up to 16 GB of DDR4 2133MHz, 2400 MHz system memory
32 GB maximum memory capacity (using two soDIMM modules)

If you have 2 RAM in two slots than try swapping the RAM and check

Was this issue ever resolved? I am running into the same issue and have verified that the new ram stick is compatible and works. It seems to only happen when both slots are being used at once. If I have either my new or old ram in only one slot with the other open then it works fine. It only freaks out when both slots are being used. Any suggestions?

    The E5-576G-5762 has 2x removable slots for RAM and takes a max capacity of 16GB (2x 8GB DDR3, 1600MHz, Non-ECC, CL11, X8, 1.35V, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 204-pin RAM) it has a bus architecture of – Flash - SDXC; SSD - M.2 NVMe; SSD - M.2 SATA; USB 2.0/3.x Type-A

Give us a caption of your OEM and the other RAM from CPUz “Memory” and “SPD #1” for your RAM, as the E5-576G-5762 probably needs an identical and from the same manufacturer as a matched kit of and like 2x 4GB DDR3, 1600MHz, Non-ECC, CL11, X8, 1.35V, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 204-pin RAM and that is why its not working for you,

The original RAM that was in the computer was made by ADATA, the new RAM I bought was made by Kingston. Right now I have the Kingston card in there and it is running just fine. So the issue is that both RAM cards need to be made by the same OEM? This is the first I've heard that.

Any thoughts on if the cards need to be the same? I'm thinking I might just give up on trying to add more ram and make do with the 8gb that it came with.

I GOT IT WORKING! Following StevenGen's suggestion I got RAM that was a 16 GB upgrade pack that had 2 8GB cards in it. The cards being the same brand and type made it so it is working now. Thanks for the suggestiongs! I have had it in my computer for about 3 hours now with no issues.

This is what I bought that is working for me: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07JGSPGGZ/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_YHvuFbJ3DC6D9
