No Bootable Device keeps occurring

I'm having an issue that is really weird. So almost every gaming laptop I've owned, including this one, has met the same fate, "no bootable devices fohnd." I was able to get it working again by using a usb that has windows 10 on it, allowing me to reinstall windows. It deleted everything which is fine since I don't use it as much as my pc, I just take it when I'm traveling and wanna game with friends or something. This however brings me to my question, how does this happen and why? I barely used it and suddenly one day at a party, it just told me "no bootable devices found." I didn't download anything, it worked the last time I used it and then suddenly at this party it said "no bootable devices found." Sounds like your hdd may be dying, uses theses steps in this link https://www.labnol.org/software/test-hard-drive-for-problems/17430/ and see if your hdd is failing or not as from what you being describing as the boot sector keeps getting corrupted resulting in the problem you currently suffering from.

If u have an external usb dvd drive you can try some hdd repair tools to see if it's really damaged like hdd regenerator and spinrite or just get it out and do the tests on another device preferably with a cd/dvd drive to be able to boot the software via cd/dvd it's just a suggestion anyway it doesn't mean it would work i managed to regenerate some in the past basically what this kind of software do its to identify the bad sectors and hide them from the hdd so this one whne it tries to read them it bypasses it to the next working sector but test it first in another device first before trying anything else

Hey! As I'm also using same machine and facing same problem. It was working perfectly fine but all of sudden it began to show 'no bootable device found' message on booting. And when I trying to boot using external usb drive and do reset it shows your "drive where windows is installed is locked". Also in BIOS setup, it is not showing any drive in boot priority order.
