@nestynest here it is...  though im having questions about the channel #... in my other laptop (Acer Aspire V5-552G AMD A10 with Radeon dual graphics HD 8750M) that says dual.
Since Nitro5 has a 2nd graphics card, won't it say that its dual also?

@nestynest it also says I have switchable graphics too... @JackE what does it mean when the channel# says "single" in CPU-Z?

@chabilita03 It means you only have one ram and it's running on single channel! To activate dual-channel, you must buy another identical memory for this function to be activated!

i think we have the same problem, take a look at your ram speed, it is only at (299 mhz) my nitro 5 also runs at that speed, our nitro 5 should have the speed 1333mhz because the advertised ram speed is ddr4 4gb 2666mhz, take a look at mine,

and then take a look at my dell which was bought a year ago and to think that the advertised speed of my dell is only 2400 mhz.....

Since we don't know or even understand the algorithms used to estimate performance metrics in these 3rd party evaluation apps,  I think far too much trust & worry are being placed on their veracity and not enough trust on how the machine actually performs.  In other words, if you never saw these numbers, what problems or annoyances are these machines exhibiting when doing real-world day-to-day activities like using the net, playing games, working with office productivity suites, audio and video output, USB devices, etc. Jack E/NJ

yup, but the ram is really the issue and it is really making a big impact on the nitro 5's performance jack, others just swap the 4gb rams with 8gb but still slower performance than other laptops using 4gb rams with lower specs.

Yes, but as egydiocoelho  mentioned earlier, are you running on only one RAM slot? Jack E/NJ

yep jack, my acer nitro 5 is running on  single slot 4gb ram 2666mhz but only at 300 mhz, and my dell inspiron 7460 is running on single slot 4gb 2400mhz is running at 1064 mhz, that is what concerns me.

Your nitro may be set up for dual channel speed enhancement. You likely need a matching 4GB module in the other slot to realize this full speed potential. https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/comment/633609/#Comment_633609  Jack E/NJ

I really need your help guys, hope you can give me some infos regarding on my concern.
I bought my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-43 Last Dec.2019, as I am reading your past convos here, just want to ask. Did you @chabilita03
upgrade your 4gbram? coz I am planning to buy another 8gb ram and add it to existing 4gbRAM total of 12gb ram.  Can you guys give me some advice?
Hope you response to this thank you!!!

Your model is different. You should confirm that it either has one or two replaceable RAM sockets by removing the bottom cover. Some models may have shipped with one soldered RAM socket and only one replaceable DDR4 2400MHz or higher RAM socket. Jack E/NJ

@JackE it says here that I have 2slots of memory in my Motherboard. Do you think its best for me to buy another 8gb ram or 16gb ram?

Yes, you have two slots but one of them might be populated with soldered 8GB RAM. So you must physically check if the two slots are identical replaceable slots or one soldered slot + one replaceable slot. Jack E/NJ
