After updating from 17.4 to 17.7 Radeon from the Acer Support page, 1600x900 is no longer available. Is there anyway I can have this back?

Why would you run at 1600x900 when the native is 1920x1080. An external monitor maybe?
Look in the radeon software, I think there should be an option to set custom resolutions.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

When playing Monster Hunter or any other game, I used to have an option to choose 1600x900 as my resolution. Now I'm left with 720p as the next lower resolution from 1080p.
