Morning all. Does the Acer ED242QR, support Windows 10, with drivers?
I bought these on 26th December 2018, and installed them on my Windows 10 computer. They work.

However, Device Manager shows 'generic' for Monitors, versus Acer.
On the download section for this monitor, I see no Windows 10 drivers. And, if I try to install the Windows 8 drivers, the computer says best drivers already installed. Thus, can't use Free sync (of whatever it is called), either.

Thanks

Every monitor is shown as generic PnP monitor from device manager. Whether on windows 8 or 10 freesync should work. What GPU does your PC have?
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

I have a Powercolor RX 480 Red Dragon 8GB. And I just checked the Radeon software for it, it does have sync active.
Rather odd that Windows went with 'generic' in device manager. I thought something was wrong - LOL

    Thanks for the help!
