Hi, the price just dropped to a point where i'm fine with it and i will use my PS4 pro for this monitor as well for exclusive games etc. I have a very good HDR TV but i've always preferred playing on a monitor. I will upgrade to a RTX 2080 TI but i dont know if it's gonna be next month or maybe 3-4 months. Obviously i will set the resolution to 4K in the nvidia control panel but my question is will games still look as sharp as a native 1440p monitor if i change the resolution in a game to 1440p instead or will it be blurry compared to my native 1440P display? I really want this monitor due to the improved contrast and black levels compared to a normal IPS and also HDR of course but right now for the coming months i would still probably play in 1440p until i get my RTX 2080 TI.

The price has dropped 700 and to be honest i dont think the price will drop like for a long time again so if 1440p in game resolution still looks sharp i would buy it instantly.
