Predator Z271 stuck at 85hz won't go up to 144hz

Appreciate anyone's help on this. I see some similar posts in the forum but no answers to my problem. My Z271 has suddenly stopped working at 144 hz with DisplayPort. I was away with travel for about 5 months and now I can't for the life of me get it to work at 144 again. Here are my specs:

Acer Z271 (1920x1080@85Hz)
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060
ForceWare version: 417.35

It was working previously and works now at 85hz but when I adjust in the Nvidia control panel to anything higher than 85 I get "No Signal". I've gone through all the steps to test out drivers using DDU and the like but nothing is working. I posted on the Nvidia forums as well. I replaced the cable last week as well, no luck.

Any advice or help is warmly welcomed.
