My Acer Predator Helios 300 (PH315-51-78NP) Had an Issue while gaming. When I play fortnite, i get massive frame drops. I will be at 120-144 frame then instantly drop to 0-20 frames. I don't know why its doing this but when i played for the first couple of days i got none but over the coarse of the 3 week i kept getting them more frequently. I hope you guys can help Me!

Check you temps you might be suffering from thermal throttling if so you have 3 options to get the temps down optimize windows, undervolting and repaste also bare in mind and i already said this loads of times here fortnite and pubg have the worst optimization i had ever seen in a game before  almost everyone is having issues with those 2 games and the devs do not care to me they are just rubbish i just installed it to check them and bin them right away dunno why ppl keep supporting bad optimized games if they stopped supporting them maybe the devs would think twice and would be forced to optimize them if they wanted ppl to play it

I used this guide for undervolting, and this one for repasting.

Repasting isn't difficult or dangerous as long as you're careful. Undervolting is even easier but can take some time to set a new value, stress test for 10 - 15 minutes, decrease the value, test again, and so on. For now I've undervolted the i7-8750H in my PH317-52 to -0.150V, and it's running stable even when using the Prime95 torture test.

Hi everyone,  please I need help  my Acer  predator helios 300,
    PH317-51.
Had an issue while  installing  Autocad, it got shutdown  during  that process and later I started  receiving  this message Your  PC RAN TO PROBLEM AND  IT'S  NEED TO RESTART.  then I  took it to a technician, he advised me that  problem was  virus and  left it  to him to solve  the problem,  not knowing that he  has formatted my pc in my absence. Since  then to date , and now shown , it's read  to me  No BOOTABLE DEVICE.
I have  requested for  recovery including  bootable  discs, recovery  have  started  but  I  kept  stucked  after the  language  installed and during it  elapsed time  stucked  at  60% .

just install a fresh copy of win 10 from a bootable , gpt formatted , usb stick.
download the win10  iso from Microsoft site. use rufus program to prepare the bootable usb from the iso.
then install all the drivers for your model from acer support site.
