    Because the BIOS is locked.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

The GX-281 models were targeted at users who wanted a bit better performance than the low end PCs, but not full blown gaming, so they left the BIOS locked. Allowing overclocking on a design also creates a lot more customer support requests as people try to go just a little too far, so the costs of that extra support has to be built into the base cost of the PC. With the GX-281 SKUs they decided to pass the lower costs to consumers instead of driving the prices up a bit.

There are communities that deal with BIOS modding. You need to do some research and maybe you will find a modded BIOS for your system. NOTE: There is a chance that the modded BIOS won't work correctly, which may result in some system bugs or worse it can brick your system making it unusable. Installing modded BIOS voids the warranty.
