a crack has appeared on top left of my keyboard, just above the eSC button and extending to the top
It most definitely did not get a bang from anything and is always used on a flat surface.
I cannot understand it, I purchased it less than 2 months ago in Harvey Norman, Cork, it was full of outdated programmes, many years old.

report this issue to acer support and check if they can fix it under warranty.

thanks, but I'm in Ireland, paid over e1000, feel completely ripped off, programmes were old and most contained dodgy software, even the norton and the Malwarebytes... Shop informed me they needed to send it back to acer and it would take 5 weeks for acer to examine it, leaving me computerless for that period, it's just 2 months old and I also purchased extended warranty. I bought it at Harvey norman, Cork, Ireland, I think they should have replaced it with a new one immediately as I also purchased extended warranty. Trackpad is virtually useless.. slithers all over the place, camera is worst I have ever seen, shop informed me cheerfully I could buy an external camera,  this is the most expensive and worst laptop I have ever used. I seriously detest it and I am trying very hard not to smash it against a wall. I'm deadly serious. Sound is miserable and visuals are horrible. I am not a gamer, I just wanted to invest in a good quality reliable laptop that would last me a few years. It has the feel of a 20 yr old laptop

No Acer in Ireland and whoever they use for repairs takes 5 weeks.  Thanks though for taking the time to reply to me, i appreciate it.

    Hi Marypg,
Thank you for your response.I am very sorry to hear that. Unfortunately apart from sending computer in for repair there is no other way to go else it may void warranty .

Thanks Kamika, Sadly I cannot be without a laptop at all. I just checked invoice again, I actually paid e1180 for the thing. I feel so cheated.
