It even supports 5tb (the largest 2.5" hdd) but they will not fit as any form factor higher than 2tb are thicker and the hdd door will not fit and regarding the sshd are you going to use it for the main OS if not it will be a waste of money as it will perform as a normal hdd as it will not cache anything in the flash sshd it's only good to use as main OS hdd
Thanks Xapin, You are being really helpful.  My OS is in the 256gb SSD drive so i would not use the SSHD for OS. i want to install & run my games from the SSHD if its faster than hdd to load games. So is it pointless for me to buy a SSHD to load games without running OS through it?

Yes thats correct sshd for games its useless behaves as normal hdd in fact a 7200 rpm hdd would have more performance than a 5400rpm sshd if you want a bit more performance on games and cannot buy an ssd now just get a good 7200 rpm hdd instead

  • Your model seems to support a 2tb sshd, see: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073G2L9PH
However I recommend you make sure the sata cable is present in the hd compartment!
