My Aspire 3 A315-21-95KF shut down twice today after being idle for only a few minutes and wouldn't power up until I held down the power button for 20 seconds, then touched the power button again.  I see this is a common problem, but my laptop was plugged in both times and not operating on battery power; in fact, I hardly ever run it on the battery.  Do I still need to reset the battery?  If so, what is the proper procedure?  If not, please advise.  I purchased my laptop 17 months ago and have had no problems until today.

Open Control Panel. Search 'button' . Click 'change what power buttons do'. Click 'change settings not currently available'. Scroll down the list and uncheck the box to turn on fast startup to disable fast boot. Also change ALL the button and lid settings to sleep.

Then go back to Control Panel 'edit power plan'. Change ALL sleep settings to Never.
