Transferring all files from SSD to HD on internal drives HELP

Hopefully someone can help this dad out. We bought my son as Predator tower last Xmas. He loves it. It has two drives in it, a 256gb SSD and 3TB hd. The way it came out of the box, we now understand, was with the SSD as the main drive. My son did not realize it. He saved all of his games, Office, etc. on the SSD drive. Now the drive is completely full and cannot accept updates. I want to transfer the contents to the HD from the SSD. I have searched online but all of the instructions are based on taking drives out and connecting them; ie replacing old with a new drive. Can anyone give me some help on how to do this without taking drives out? Does anyone know if the OS is installed on the SSD, or how I would determine that. Go easy on me, I am not a computer expert.

The OS is installed on the SSD, that's one of the big reasons it has the speed it does. There is likely a setting within each of his games as to where the data is kept. What you will want to do is figure out how to change it for each game he's playing, then copy the existing data from that place to somewhere on the large drive, change the config for the game to that new place on the big drive, then delete the data from the SSD. It shouldn't be too tough to do and likely when it's explained to him he'll know how to go about it. For more mundane data, such as music, documents, pictures, etc. the OS has a procedure for moving those default folders to another drive. I'm not positive, but I believe when you ask the OS to move those folders it creates the appropriate stuff on the other drive, then moves the files, freeing up the space on the smaller drive. Documents and stuff will likely by far be the biggest step for freeing memory, most games use fairly little space.
