    Hi MasterHolyDevil,
Please try the following steps and let me know if it resolved your issue.
For this take out the charger if connected and press and hold the power button till all lights are off.
Have a look at the bottom of the laptop. Search for a tiny pin hole with a battery symbol by the side of it. If you see the pin hole, take a paper clip and press and hold it down for 30 seconds.
If you do not see the pin hole, then simply press and hold the power button for 30 seconds and let go.
Then recharge the computer until 100%. Remove the charger and work on Battery. Ones done with your work please make sure to shut down the computer by going to power options. Also note how much battery is let. Next day restart your computer and check if its fixed your battery drain issue.
Please let me know if this fixes your issue

Just wondering do you leave anything connected to the usb ports when you switch it off as the usb ports still have power when the laptop is off unless you disable it in the bios anyway mine is always on 24/7 on A/C

Open up Acer Care and disable the option where it allows one of the USB ports to draw power when turned off.
