Dead Cluster of Pixels towards center of screen - will this qualify for replacement?

Hi All,

I'm a bit new to using Acer screens (as I've been with Mac's displays for quite some time), so I was wondering if having a cluster of dead pixels is normal in these monitors? I just purchased this via manufacturer refurb from Acer so I'm hoping the 90 day warranty is valid on a fix for this. I dont think this is an acceptable amount of pixels (especially towards the center, the corner would be more forgiving), but I would like to see what the community's take is on this. I am using this as my primary monitor for design, photo, video, and gaming so the most optimal performance is preferred.

Any help or insight is appreciated. TIA!

I have already reviewed this page, thank you for sharing. I was wondering more on this would qualify (or worth asking) since I have not had experience with dead pixels.

As you stated it is center, from my experience I say that it would qualify. I recommend you to contact refurbished - warranty support team in your region and ask for assessment of monitor. By that way, you can confirm whether this is covered under warranty or not.
