After 6 months, games all of a sudden choppy

So as the question says, after 6 months of owning my Nitro laptop, games are just all of a sudden choppy af. Its Intel, 8gb ram, geforce gtx 1050 ti. Anyway, I was playing fallout 4 and everything was good, then my friend came by to play nazi zombies 2. I shut down my computer so I could move it to the office where my desktop is and I started the game up and all of a sudden its choppy as hell. I've played the game on my laptop no problem before. Anyone have any idea what's going on here? And maybe how I can fix it?

Thanks

Did u try updating the nvidia drivers to 412.22 ?
If yes rollback to the old nvidia drivers as the new driver has performance issue in old GPU's .
