How to fix GPU stuck at 600MHz?
Hi, I'm fairly experienced PC user, and I recently acquired an Acer Predator Helios 300. For the first few months, it ran games amazingly well with 90+ fps at good graphics. It's not my main gaming rig as I have a nice custom PC, but I use it on the go and at friend's houses, or if I'm in another room. Recently, however, all games run horribly because my GPU somehow stuck at 600 MHz, when the usual clock speed is around 1500-1600 MHz. I can't find the problem, and I've wiped the PC twice to no avail. I'm completely at a loss for help, as I've not found anyone else with this problem. I know it's not overheating, because the temperatures are at a normal range. I looked at GPU-Z and it says my GPU should be running at 1600 MHz. Help!!
