I create an email using my internet provider, put in the address and message and hit Send. Message goes into my outbox. Yes. I am connected to the net as I am receiving messages on same account. Even when I find the message in my Outbox I cannot get it to send. Help. Strangely I had this working before, no problem and I not knowingly changes any settings.

it could be because of too many mails in the inbox or drafts or other folders. Clear a few unwanted e-mails and go to outbox and re-send the e-mail.

I believe the E-Mail settings for outgoing might have been changed or added incorrectly, if this is the case then contact e-mail provider. In your case its your cable provider.

It's not unusual for outgoing emails to require more authentication than incoming. Check to verify all the settings match what your provider wants and that the password and login are correct.
