So I broke the USB ports on the right side of my laptop because to much downward force was applied to it while it was plugged in. I pulled the USB board out to inspect it for cracked solder joints or something but found nothing, Im assuming the damage is internal to the board. Anyways, Im having trouble finding a replacement part. The one supplier I did find wont sell to me because the parts are in very limited quantity and are reserved for warranty work only and Im out of warranty. So my question is, does anybody know of a supplier for ACER repair parts? It would seem kinda ridiculous if I had to send my laptop in for repairs for such a simple part replacement, not to mention that would cost a lot more.

    Hi.

Did you find a parts supplier? I have a similar problem with my Aspire A314-35 with a non-operational right side (single) USB port. It's on the same PCB as the (working) blue, status LEDs.

Both USB ports on the left side are functioning properly and there are no USB problems flagged/highlighted in "Device Manager".
