Hi there,
Can somebody please help me? I don't want to have to press Fn to access the F keys. Is there somewhere in the control panel or a key that I have to press to turn this function off? Thanks so much in advance! Acer Aspire A315-32-P1EZ.

FN key behavior is usually controlled by the BIOS in the Main tab. So F2 into the BIOS menu to check if the change Function key behavior is an option. If the option isn't there then google reassign keys Windows 10, for other ways that might work for you. Jack E/NJ

Did this work?
I have just bought a Swift3 and want to use the f-keys without having to press the fn-key. This slows me down when working with spreadsheets. I would like to reassign/reverse the keys

There is an option to reverse fn key inside BIOS.0

>>>Did this work?>>>Just tap F2 on startup to enter the BIOS menu and see if the function key behavior option is available in the BIOS Main tab. If it is, change it, press F10 to save the change and exit the BIOS menu. That's it.

Thanks it was getting frustrating... don't know why they need all these fancy symbols on the keys... the majority of people will never used them... if they do... there's always Character Map... click, copy and paste0 -
