Why can't I login with the primary account?

I setup the primary account for my wife, and now when I try logging with that account in the login screen, the screen goes dark for a couple seconds then returns to the main login page. Wash, rinse, repeat.  I tried what I new to be an invalid password and an error message was returned indicating it was invalid, so when the screen goes dark I know I have entered the correct password. I also added an account for me and I do not have this issue. I have an Acer Chromebook 15. I only created the primary account and updated the system from the settings. Outside of a factory reset (and that would be disappointing as I have only had it in my possession for about an hour) I am at a loss for what to do. Also tried turning it off and back on again.

Not sure what CB15 model you have (there are many), but you might try pressing and holding the power button till the machine completely powers off. Then turn it back on and try again. Jack E/NJ
