cant register my predator- The product is already registered. Please check the Serial Number

just bought this "new" acer predator helios 300 from newegg for black friday, now when i tried to register the product on the acer site i get this message in red letters 

The product is already registered. Please check the Serial Number
 
Has this product already been registered to someone else? if yes, what do i do now?

    You could contact Acer Support centre in USA and explain to them over the phone, they will be able to resolve the issue.

    I am aware that some resellers register the laptops before they ship them as they provide their own warranty so if any issue arises it would go only through them firstly but to me if i'm the owner i should have it register myself in my own account not someone else that would really make me mad :)

    Yes that's the issue with some provider giving seasonal offers they want to tag the buyer by registering the product as their own which i see as selfish and unethical practice.

    Just bought this Acer Aspire 1315 53G last 06 November 2019. When I tried to register this product on Acer Site, The Serial Number is already registered.
