Acer Predator Helios 300 (G3-571-77KB)

Hi i'm looking to upgrade my RAM on my Acer predator laptop because the laptop only came with a single stick of 8gb DDR4 ram, and i'm looking to add another stick for a total of 16gb of RAM or 12gb of RAM. I've heard that you genreally want to look for ones with the same timings, frequency, LAS etc though so i'm not sure if another 4gb would be good with the 8gb one, and instead another 8gb stick would maybe be better?

but i'm not sure if that'd be the best compatibility wise. (What's the difference between single rank and dual rank ram? would it matter in my system?)

Hi,
There's no noticeable difference between single and dual rank memory modules, you can even mix them.
