I just bought an acer aspire 3, base model, nothing too much and I want to do my best to see how I could optimize it as a surface.  i'd like to get rid of the clutter that comes with it, all the unnecessary xbox  decoration, and erase so many things i'll never use.  I want the acer aspire as a surface (with options) and I want it as a surface for work and to work with.  i'll take suggestions as to where to start.  I also do wish to maximize any acer software.  thank you.

ps.  and how do I change the silly profile image?  (that's the newbie question).

Suggestion. Don't start erasing software that you think you'll never use. Some of its files might be linked to operating other software that you do use and you could end up disabling programs that you don't want to disable. As for changing your profile image, right click on the image will take you to your profile page.  Hover over the image on your profile page to change it to what you want, even your own jpg image.
