I bought an Acer GN246HLB monitor thinking that I wouldnt have problems with the 144hz with hdmi conection and now I can only get 60hz by this way because monitor limitation, the main problem is that mi portatil Acer Predator Helios 300 only can be conected with hdmi or typce C, no displayport or DVI-D.
I have one idea, I dont know if it can work... if you use a cable with dvi-d connection (for monitor) and hdmi connection (for laptop) maybe you could have 144hz if the problem is the monitor with hdmi? Or you lose the hz with the transformation bewteen dvi-d and hdmi? I know that other monitors can be at 144hz with hdmi so changing the hdmi conection in it....
Thanks and hope to get a solution, Im a bit upset with this problem, I dont see a easy solution anguished
