Power issue
Hi ,
I have an annoying issue with my laptop Acer Aspire nitro V17 -791g black edition . The battery was showing plugged in charging but it was not actually charging fixed at 61 %. and laptop immediately shutdown once i unplug the power cable .I tried resetting the battery but again same problem also i noticed significant drop in my frame rate and hang during game play . So i thought that this could be battery issue since that most of the times i use the laptop while adapter is plugged in . So i opened the case and i unplugged the battery cable ( it was not working anyway ) and i noticed the gameplay frame rate is ok again and no graphic freeze .
I ordered ne battery same model and changed the battery but now i can see plugged in not charging and battery getting dropped everyday . I can see the amber light blink sometimes and laptop battery status says charging for a second but it goes away ( it is almost like the adapter is trying to charge it but it is unable to do so ) , so i suspected the adapter and i measure it with multi meter and it gives 18 volt ( it should be 19.5 ) , however when i unplug the cable the laptop still immediately lose power and shut down , so i'm not sure is it the laptop internal power circuit or the adapter or sopmething else . Can anybody help please ?!
