    Hi.

Steps to migrate HDDs to SSDs:
Step 1: Make a full backup of your system
One way to create a backup of the system is to create a backup of the system image in Windows and go to Control Panel> System and Security> Use file history to save a backup of the file.
In the next window, click on "Save image backup" in the lower left corner. This will create a system image on an external disk or network location.
Step 2: free space on your disk:
Your hard drive may contain large files or folders. In this case, you must transfer these files to an external drive to allow enough space in the unit. You can also delete unused or unnecessary files that you do not want to transfer to the SSD. So there are no problems during the migration process.
Step 3: Connect and initialize the SSD
Connect the SSD to the system using a USB cable or adapter. Once the connection is complete, initialize the SSD.
Step 4: Adjust the size of the hard drive partition (equal to or smaller than the SSD)
Check if the primary partition (drive C ) is larger than the SSD. If so, then you must reduce the partition to be equal to or smaller than the SSD.
Step 5: Clone your hard drive to SSD
Finally, it's time to clone the drive to the SSD. To do this, you must install the disk cloning software to migrate to the SSD.
Step 6: Exchange the hard drive with SSD
Carefully remove the old system unit and insert it into the SSD.

    Regards.

Startech.com  you have nvme to external sata/usb adapters there you can also pick up the correct model number (make sure to see the specs and it says it supports nvme if any doubt contact support to find out) there and search for it on ebay or amazon i got my dual m.2 (raid 0, 1 etc...) to sata 2.5" external adapter to clone my liteon 128gb to my new m.2 wd blue 2tb and i always use easeus partiton master to clone all my drives
