What can be done for a H6502BD projector that starts blinking until it loses its red color?

I have a H6502BD projector which worked great until lately. Only used it for 80 hours over the past 2 years.
about a week ago it started blinking while we were watching a movie and the blinking was with and without a "red channel" until the picture just lost the red color (and showed up with greenish/yellowish hue). I changed two HDMI cabled and even tried a VGA cable, all with the same results... it starts ok and after a while losing the red color.

I know this is a DLP projector so it has one source of light and uses a wheel for the colors, so I do not understand how only the red is lost from the image.

Would appreciate any help to solve it.
