hi I have 2  Acer Veriton L480  desktop pcs  2009/07/06 that i would like to upgrade the memory on..
i originally  had 2 x 2gb sticks of ddr3 8500s installed and hoped to upgrade to  2 x4gb  sticks of ddr3 10600s-9-10-F2 1333  but upon installing
i recieve  one long beep and no screen image..  is it at all possible to install 8gb of memory in 2x4gb sticks  on this machine .. is there a bios upgrade to make this possible.. the 2 x 4gb memory sticks are nanya brand is it probable that it may  be an incompatibility issue.. or just that the machine does not support  8gb of memory..
thank you  for your help

regards Andrew

This motherboard accommodates two memory modules. It can support two 204-pin DDR3 1066/800. The total memory capacity is 8 GB.

    DDR3 SDRAM memory module table.

You must install at least one module in any of the two slots. Each module can be installed with 4 GB of memory; total memory capacity is 8 GB.
