New SSD - Clone windows? Clean install? Or Factory reset (after clone)?

New TC-885, adding 500GB Samsung 970 evo SSD.  Regarding above options for getting Windows onto SSD, which is most recommended, and why? Pros/cons to each method?  I understand cloning may be the easiest, but I'm more concerned about what is most optimal.  There seem to be varying opinions on this.  I have read that cloning HDD will also transfer over settings and options (prefetch/ indexing, etc.) that are optimized for an HDD, not SSD, thereby decreasing optimal performance of the SSD.

    > Installing windows using recovery media (or) ISO file

Pros: One of the best way to install the operating system safely

Cons: User's have to re-install all the applications and transfer the data

    > Cloning the operating system from one drive to another

Pros: Its good that user's don't have to re-install applications or transfer the data
User's can start from where they left off

    Cons: Performance issues might occur
             Sometimes software crashes might happen
Cloning may not support varieties of HDD's and SSD's

Thank you.  Will a clean install from ISO file also provide the needed drivers for my system?  Or are those added another way? What about the drivers available for download from Acer's website for my model- should I install all of those as well?
By default, with windows 10 microsoft provides default drivers. For most of the drivers you dont have to download and install from acer website. Drivers like Chipset, Wireless, ethernet, etc.., these things are recommended to download from acer website and install them.

Please do visit support.acer.com, select the country, click on support on the top and click on drivers and manuals do download the drivers

You should download the full set of drivers offered on the support site, but only install those that Windows didn't do four you. Sometimes the network drivers don't automatically install correctly, so you do those manually before you can do updates. Best to have everything ready just in case...
