Open Device Manager. Click on keyboard folder. Uninstall PS2 keyboard driver. Reboot machine and let Windows automatically re-detect and re-install the keyboard . Jack E/NJ

If the keyboard worked OK before, its ribbon cable connector on the mainboard probably needs to be re-seated a few times to clean its contacts. If that doesn't resolve problem, you probably should replace the keyboard. I doubt keyboard re-programming software will solve the problem. Jack E/NJ

If you have replaced the main board in your device and the key(s) are not working properly, there could be several reasons for this issue. Here are some things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Check for loose connections: Make sure all the connections between the main board and the keypad are secure and properly seated.
    2. Verify compatibility: Ensure that the replacement main board is compatible with your device and the keypad.
    3. Check for physical damage: Check the keypad for any physical damage or wear and tear that may be affecting the key(s).
    4. Test the key(s): Try testing the key(s) to see if they are functioning properly by using a key tester or by connecting the device to a computer and testing the key(s) in a text editor.
    5. Contact the manufacturer: If you are still experiencing issues, contact the manufacturer or a professional repair service for further assistance.

It's also possible that the replacement main board is defective or not installed properly, so it may need to be replaced or reinstalled.
