Swift 3 SF315-52G-50UB Touchpad doesnt support multigestures, turns off after sleep. How to Fix?

Hi! Recently purchased Acer Swift 3, model SF315-52G-50UB.
After short period of time discovered, that the touchpad of the device seems to turn off after sleep mode, moreover the multitouch features (scrolling,swiping,...) seems to be absent.
I've ran through a couple of questions simular to my problem on forum, and have tried next solutions:
1. The BIOS setting doesnt have "Touchpad - [Advanced]" option.
2. The device is recognised as a PS/2 compatible mouse (Can happen if you didnt install any touchpad drivers) and refuses to work if i change this default MS driver to ELAN (The Synaptics driver installs correctly but i can't connect him to this touchpad)

Am I missing something?

Frustrated,Ive decided to update my BIOS from v1.05 to 1.06, and you never guess what happend!

PS/2 compatable mouse transformed to HID compatable mouse, and multigesture features got back!
So i guess that solves the issue)

Hi,
You shouldn't install both Synaptics and Elan drivers, you have to find out which device driver is suitable for your laptop, could you please go to Device manager, expand "Human Interface devices" and "Mice and other Pointing devices", post the snip like mine.

Sure thing, ive already told you that it recognises touchpad as a PS/2 compatable mouse,but ok

Hi,
No problem, go to Device manager, expand System Devices, uninstall the driver for Intel Serial IO Host controller, then download the driver from Acer support centre (version 30.100.1725.1) and install it, then reboot and check Device manager for any additional items for HID devices.

Turns out i have 2 Serial IO I2C Host Controllers -9D60 and 9D61, should i delete both of them?

Don't delete them, right click and check the driver version of both, compare the version with Acer Support site in my previous post, update the driver and see whether it makes any difference.

Updated them to current version, no additional HID devices after restart, no changes

Hi,
Well done, I don't normally suggest a BIOS update as some of the members had problems after BIOS update, however, I am glad that you have resolved your issue, as a matter of interest, could you please check in BIOS whether you have Advanced option available for Touchpad.
