Hello. i cant enter my bios mode when i hold f2 on my swift 5 can anybody help

Hi again so i cant enter my bios, and when i try to enter them its just a black screen and if i want tp get back to windows witch boots fine no prpblem there i have to hard reset the computer cna  anyone help me out. Btw i checked under administrative tools and it says the bios is set to uefi

    JackE thanks for answering my problem unfortunally I have found a work around where I don't need the bios, but I thank your help nonetheless, I am sorry for posting this thread because of a mistake mine, I was meaning to boot from usb and found a way to do so.

    The BIOS must be set to UEFI and remain that way. To enter the BIOS menu, the machine must be completely shut off. If you have fast boot enabled, it may not shut off completely. So first disable fast boot. Then shut Windows down. Then press the power button to turn it back on and ****immediately**** start tapping the F2 key, don't hold it. Don't wait for the logo screen to appear. Start tapping F2 immediately after turning it on. Jack E/NJ

    Yes, the boot stick must be GPT, not MBR partitioned. Good luck. Jack E/NJ
