Today I've been playing games for about 6 hours with no issues everything was running good. Temps hadn't even spiked past 90 when all of the sudden my device shuts down. I turn it back on at it says the battery is at 2%, no low battery warning or anything so I do a little reading for maybe a minute or 2 to research the issue but now my laptop is already up to 29% so I click off do a google search and go right back, no longer than 5 minutes, and my device is already back at 100%? Now either I'm really lucky and I've got the fastest charge times around or there's something fishy going on.

apart some hardware issues: battery cells having some issue or overheating, battery controller not reporting the correct charge.

from windows device manager, under Battery, right click the ACPI control method battery and reboot, then let windows re-install.
