I haven't had a laptop again for the past years. I used to have a laptop before with removable batteries. What I usually do is I remove the batteries because I keep my apps opened and running so I just use the charger for power source when the battery is removed. Now that laptops have non-removable batteries can I keep the charger plugged in when its fully charged ? I believe some laptops have an option to keep it AC or DC but I'm using Swift 3 and I have no idea if that would be possible. Hope you can help me answer this question. TIA

My recommendation is to unplug the charger once 100% charge and charge it back when it comes down to 20%. This would increase the battery life. Although, keeping it plugged in all time would not harm the computer. However, the battery life go short and sometimes the computer might not turn on.

Would not recommend changing from AC to DC because certain things might blow up the entire computer.
